This workshop provided information and training on California employment requirements, and how to be prepared for potential inspections from the Department of Labor Standards Enforcement of Division of Occupational Safety and Health, known as Cal/OSHA. Bryan Little, from the Farm Employers Labor Service, provided a presentation and answered questions about how to prepare for and respond to inspections from these agencies.

Leslie Ruhland talked about payroll services, and showed examples of employee notification and payroll processing. Participants received templates of plans and reports required for compliance with labor codes and health and safety standards.
