The Western Meat School is an innovative learning experience where farmers, ranchers, butchers, & others will learn how to direct market meat. This is a 6 week long course; classes will include around 90 minutes of lectures, 45 minutes of discussion/Q&A, and a 10 minute break between speakers.
The course will cover key topics in production, processing, & marketing to produce high-quality meat and sell to diverse market channels. Learn new ways to manage risk in your meat business and improve your profitability. For both start-ups and seasoned producers.
The course will be presented via Zoom and it will be recorded. Participants will receive a private YouTube recording of the weekly session within 24 hours of the class, and receive handouts as well.

Course fee: $120 per person or $160 for couples/business partners, includes a copy of the textbook "The New Livestock Farmer", access to all presentations, handouts, a private group listserv, and optional add-on modules.
