Join another farmer-to-farmer field day, this time at Green Star Farm to explore small-scale livestock management and direct marketing of pasture-based meats.
Green Star Farm is a 58-acre pasture based livestock farm in the heart of West Sonoma County. They produce pasture fed eggs, chicken, pork, lamb, and goat throughout the year. Practicing rotational grazing and using mobile coops, learn how they optimize animal and soil health. And hear how they sell and market their products through restaurants, retailers, farmers markets, online and through meat subscription services.
This event is FREE and open to all farmers, farmworkers, farm interns and students of Ag. SPACES ARE LIMITED, RSVP REQUIRED. Farm tour and conversation will conclude with a casual networking potluck happy hour. Feel free to bring something to share.
