24 Carrot

Join the next Farmer-to-Farmer Field Day and meet fellow farmers at 24 Carrot Farm to explore direct marketing your goods, from running a farm stand to managing a CSA.

Located in Placerville, CA along the Apple Hill route, they grow organic fruits and vegetables on 13 acres with year-round production, including a winter CSA, nursery business, u-pick strawberries, blackberries, flowers, apples and pumpkins, together with a busy farm stand that aggregates other local items including cheese, eggs, rice, fruit and veggies to accompany what they grow on site. The farmers here are actively restoring the land, operating with passion and ethics.

This event is FREE and open to all farmers, farmworkers, farm interns and students of Ag. RSVP encouraged. Farm tour and conversation will conclude with a casual networking potluck happy hour. Feel free to bring something to share.
